This is the second time Bay Nordic is hosting this event, giving you the opportunity to refine and learn ski technique from UWGB Nordic Ski Team athletes. From beginners to advanced, take a ski lesson from some of the BEST skiers in our area. Athletes from the UWGB Nordic Ski Team will be giving ski specific lessons on Monday, February 22nd at the Reforestation Camp on the lighted trails. If you came to the first event, we have improved the format and look forward to expanding your ski technique even more. General check-in, and meet-n-greet begins at 5:30 PM, start time is 6PM. The cost is $15 per person for a 1 hour lesson. Space is limited to 5 individuals per group, and each group will include 1 athlete. Classes will be geared toward all abilities (advanced, intermediate and beginner) and technique of choice (skate or classic). Please sign up in advance. You may sign up the day of the event but no guarantee there will be a spot. Sign up <HERE> to secure your spot.
We look forward to learning skiing techniques from these talented athletes, to supporting them, and to broadening our ski community. You do not need to be a Bay Nordic Member to join in, so be sure to invite your friends! Check out Bay Nordic Ski Club, Inc on Facebook.
If you are writing a check, you make it payable to “Phoenix Fund/Nordic Skiing”. Any additional donations will go directly to the Nordic Ski Team. Cash or check acceptable.
We look forward to this collaboration with the UWGB Nordic Ski Team, an NCAA Division 1 sport.
Happy Trails,
